20 inch maxium lip
Some pictures of my car been on it for like 1 year gone through many changes and trannies i might add leave some comments if you like if there coments that i dont like then keep them to your self. enjoy

3 - Judging by the hella low offset, do you have to register your car in 1 state and your wheels in another?

shrinking it down really helps. your camera is horrible and if you took it on a phone at least shrink the pic and since imageshack is whack these days, try other hosting sites.
here's a shrunk down and better hosted pic of your car. i suggest you actually get rims that fit on the car. you made the TL look like a truck with those wheels.

well even if there are better pics available or not.. just look at the size and the proportions compared to the car.. it looks SOOO off.. the freakin rims/wheels stick way off the fenders and riding it dropped/kitted/20inched low pro tires.. not worth driving it at all.. if you got the money to go 20's on the tl with lips like that.. get something else.
it looks like he doesnt even have tires wrapped around the rims at all.

Well sitting it really looks kind of sick to me minus the pos cammera and the fact that physics tell us that that shit rubbs like a mother but sitting still loos nice .

I Like if it Dont rub but if it rubs they gotta go but other then that from whaT i can see from tha wack camera and the one pic i think it looks sick i like that year maybe cuz i have the same car color and every thing but it looks good

dammmmmn i guess everybody feels much better about themselves for criticizing his ride so many times? all of u r bein pricks except for a few people.
the rims would look sick if correct offset.....i really want to see somebody to some 20s with right offset and slammmmm it.....i was thinking about doin 20x7.5 tsw because it would tuck in fender another half inch then my 19s. i say good idea but just find a set with lower offset. are those mod 7?

ALLL Right guys you guys think your funny with your lame jokes knowing half of you dont have any thing done besides lowered and springs but i aint hating. I can care less i put the pictures up for the people who know whats GOOD and like to talk and for all you guys that hated i have a set of diablos in 19s on the side.

I personally think that 20's would look good on a 2nd gen if they had the right look and offset, and of course was lowered. This guy had the right idea but just the wrong offset. This is a luxury car, why not have big chrome?

Dubs look good... I think the offset needs to be changed but if the wheels were flush with the side of the fenders and the car is lowered, thumbs up in my book.

there's such thing as a 20x7 inch rims?? and is it possible for tires to hold up suck big heavy chrome rims when its gonna be really thin and narrow? plus super low pro's??
TL is a luxury car, but whats the point if youre gonna lose the luxury smoothness and ride quality? you freakin ROLL over a speed bump at 5-10 miles per hour and that thing is gonna bend or the tires are gonna go flat.

Your gonna lose some ride quality with any 18,19, or 20 inch wheels! Most run a 35 series on 19's whats the difference with a 35 series in a 20. Its about the same amount of tire. Also with a 20 you wont have to lower the car as much therefore you would stay closer to a stock suspension. The only was your going to save stock ride quality is to go with a small whee like a 17 or lower, then whats the point?

are u kidding me????? what's the difference between 35 and 20 profile? that's like asking what's the difference between 50 (TL-S stock) and 35 profile...that's hella big difference. difference is 17inch stock and 19inch wheels. 20 inch on a TL just looks funny, period. i've seen couple of TLs with 20s and they do not look 'normal'. out of proportion....

OK For All that talked a good one first off it was taken with my camera from my phone. Second the car has more done to it than probably half of your cars on here. Third the 20's are flushed with the body of the car. And last but not least I can ride with 3 People Easily and when i am done clowing you guys that have your comments to say i have to end it with hey i got 19 diablos kicking it in my garage. So for you guys that had something nice to say and didnt ride the other guys dick i say thank you.

its obvious the wheels are NOT flush with the fender... even with that crappy pic, its noticeable.
if you do NOT rub, then you must have some stiff as hell suspension and the car would ride like complete shit.
19" diablos is nothing to brag about, those wheels suck. my stock 17's > 19" diablo

i get good and bad comments also on my car. but i like doing different things and sometimes i wont get much respect at all. there's many people on here that also tries new things but they live on with it. its up to you to put it up or not, but you will get comments either you like it or not. alot will get the usual (oem lip kit, type-s rims, a nice drop by teins, h&r, apexi..) many cars even look nearly identical, but they wont get bad comments because theyre just sticking to the usual. there's guys that got custom body work (ex. the TL/IS300) but he likes it alot and thats all that matters. i did a few crazy and different things. i got bad comments for painting my emblems all white to match the car and give it a clean look. people said it looks cheap, for one sure it kinda does, but i liked it. just trying out new things, yaknow?
do what you like, but many of us dont think it looks right on the TL.. those rims are ridiculously huge and looks like a truck. those wheels definitly does not look flushed judging from the poor quality of the picture.
