i think 10k is suppose to be iceburg blue with a hint of violet. 12k is more purple. those look more like 8k ish to me. but since that was a daytime picture i cant really tell. night time pic will show it better. but still, anything over 6k is just not even practical.

i had 10k's on my eclipse and i could see fine but then again i had projectors. i got them as a gift but if i would have chosen i would have went with 6k's

guys, theres nothing wrong with not taking advantage of what HIDs have to offer...so what if he wants 50% less visibility and 500% more attraction from cops. hes a young 19 year old...let his character build from his lessons in life.

yea i might be 19 but that has nothing to do with my hid's haha just because im not going for the look that everyone else is. i been browsing this forums for years since i was 16 i knew i was gonna be critisized for them , im not going for that inspire/saber lip kits and all that hype , like i always say its better to fail in originality than to succeed in imitation.

they do only look like 8k and its your car bro do with it what you like. it doesnt bother me, is glare an issue? i doubt it would be as our headlight housings are made for hids

 

no glare isnt an issue there not as bad as people think where im from we all roll 10k and cops dont even bother us but 12k and 13k then theres a problem haha

 

^i hear you on that here in Cleveland alot of ppl are runnin the after market 12k hid kits on lifted trucks i mean shit the glare makes driving impossible in the morning even worse are the lifted trucks with hid fogs as well

Whaa? Doing 10k low-beams isn't original, it just sucks. So you've certainly got the fail part. Do what you want, but don't think you're being original or improving at all on your TL. And that is exactly the mentality of all ricers.
