XS power headers installed today!

I was headed to the parental units' house this morning, to do some laundry, and the FED EX truck was leaving, and i knew that was what i was waiting for. Sure enough, my new headers were there! Install was a breeze, basically what the write up in the DIY section said. My butt-dyno is seriously worn out, or just used to abuse. w/ the 3 other performance vehicles i own, (96 gsxr srad 750, 91 eclipse gsx @ 489 AWHP! and my absolute baby, my 1984 Ferrari 308 GTSi w/koeneggsegg SC and hamann MS tuning and about a thousand other parts, Liquid Metallic Silver w/ red interior) i have to say that i was expecting alot more...

Be not disapointed though. From what i can tell, without modern mechanical diagnostic machines, there is a noticible power gain, im just a sucker for MORE! I would reccommend this to anybody willing to spend $90 on a set of headers.

By disconnecting the battery for 15 min or so or by pulling the clock backup fuse for 15 min or so

hey fsttyms1, i was trying to install the xs headers last weekend (you have to forgive me im a huge newb when it comes to the engine...and most other shit) i didnt have to much trouble taking off the pipe with the 3 tubes...not sure what thats called...in the front of the engine, but i wasnt sure how to get to the back one, i got underneath the car and finally saw what hanger everyone was talking about (was pretty excited to see it for myself) and it seems i can take care of everything underneath, the only problem seems to be that pipe in the rear of the engine....how the hell am i supposed to get back there, with a very long extension from the bottom or from the top? I cut the install short cuz of time constraints...but i plan to get back to it as soon as i can.

You can reach the bolts from the top...i did it, its pretty simple, you just have to feel where the bolts are and maybe get a flash light to help you see...good luck!

Get a blanket and lay on your motor. You can access the 5 manifold to head bolts from the top.
