Will this intake setup cause Problems? jw

I want to use this set up just for a lil until i buy a intake pipe. My pockets are hurting since i just had my tranny rebuilt.
It sounds really good!

i just want to know if its a good idea or not lol

sounds great and car drives better i also have deleted resonator. So i will keep for now.

I'm pretty sure you're getting unfiltered air into your system. Also you can remove the old paper filter as its not doing anything.

that filter on there is useless.. Its drawing in all the air unfiltered from the other opening. You would be better off getting rid of the stock lid and attaching the filter to that end and putting the small resonator back on.

what he said^ dont use the t-adapter thing because its causing u to get unfiltered air. just swap the box out with the cone filter

Wtf are you doing. You're essentially running no intake. Just wait until you can get a real intake.

You don't want to suck in a squirrel or something.

Looks to me like he just took off the intake section going to the manifold to show the T connection. I gather the pipe would connect both to the cone filter and to the stock one when set correctly. Seems like you would be sucking in a lot of hot engine air, however, which is not good.

haha yeah i thought he was running open but then after i posted i was like wait hes probably doing both.. then i felt like a dumbass..

My new setup loving this alot better! sounds great and feels strong. I know some people don't like sri but some do. I know some people say they just suck up hot air. This will do for now. ohh and i took off the old airbox just didn't in the pic.
