thanks guys. i didnt know so many people would respond.

i dont want to make it into some supercharged monster or anything. i have about $1000 saved which i can use to start modding it with. when i opened the hood it was freaking dirty and some plastic tubes were broken (i dont know too much about cars, i think its the covering for the battery wire?) so i went to the acura dealership and i was suprised cuz she took really good care of it (timing belt replaced, fixed the transmission when it was recalled in 2005, replaced the back brakes, always changed the oil on time). i think i will start with coilovers but i have no idea how to install them. how much do u think it'll cost to get them installed by a mechanic?

blue HID no the higher the Kelvin the worst it is.. Blue is like 8k-12k possibly more.. some brands make 8k thats actually more of a white color

I say stick to 4300k, 5000k or even bump up to 6000k.

and its Tint people not tints.. LOL I like to hassle people on that just for fun dont take any offense to it

I also just bought a 2002 TL, not a type s though. I wana drop it, get wheels and get the oem body kit. What would be a good price for the kit? and it works with a regular TL right?

im glad the previous took care of the car. you'd kill yourself to have my car lolol. anyways.. starting with a drop is the most important imo. the stock height is just too embarrassing to drive around with. definitely get coils.. spring/shock combo just costs too much and with that you can get a set of function and form type 1's which are height adjustable. that will run about 400-600~.. just check the black market constantly or other sites like 6thgenaccord or veesixperformance.. cause 98-02 accord suspensions will fit on our cars too. or you can simply do a search online to see where they sell the coils for the lowest price.

after the drop, you may consider changing out the lights/foglights. led map/dome/license plate/vanity lights/step light/trunk light.. etc.

visors?

debadge?

i'd do exterior modifications first since performance modifications don't really make a huge difference with our cars.. unless you have the full intake, headers, catback exhaust,hi flow cat, underdrive pulley, crank pulley.. etc.

the trans recall was to install an external oil jet kit in the filler hole on top of trans
Ck if thats present, or if there are blue painted bolt heads on the trans
the recall only installed that part and has nothing to do with the real trans failure issue

warranty replaced many of the trans complete unit
blue bolt heads are warranty units!

first mod? underbody cross brace bar--makes it a different car!
see our sponsor mrheeltoe www.heeltoeauto.com

coupon code: acurazinerocks
