Whats the difference between tl-p and tl-s

better yet what is a tl-p anyways, never heard of it. whats the difference between the it and a tl-s

In short version

TL-P: 225 hp, 16" rims

TL-S: 260 hp, 17" rims, firmer dampers and springs, thicker anti-roll bar, improved intake. Interior: Triangular shape headrest, TypeS shift knob.

oh that model?! so tl-p is just the base model tl. so then why do all call it tl-p just a waist of energy. lol

There was MUCH more than improved intake.

The engine has higher compression, more agressive cams, duel stage intake manifold, improved flow intake, improved flow cat, exhaust/mufflers. Firmer suspension, thicker sway bar(s) silver guages, perforated seats, 17inch rims. VSA 4 channel ABS.

Taken from the dealer brochure:

"At lower speeds, the two cylinder banks are separated by a closed valve. This allows intake resonance- essentially energy waves echoing within the plenum chamber- to pack more air/fuel charge into each cylinder. As engine speeds increase, the valve opens and cancels the resonance. The inertia of the intake charge then creates a superchargine effect for greater peak horsepower".

The Type S also gets a forged steel crankshaft. Advanced spin-cast cylinder- liner manufacturing technique that helps reduce weight and improve engine cooling.
