we dont have a 4 cyl so its pretty hard to get a ricey sound out of them. Comptech, ATLP, Custom Magnaflow. Use the search button on the forum a little, you will find many results, some with soundclips.

ATLP will be the exhaust of choice...Don't do what most people like, do what you like. Make your car unique to you.
There are more than just those choices though, check Comptech, Tsudo, Apexi wsII, etc.
Do a search on here, and you will most def. find what you are looking for.

ATLP has to be bought in a groupbuy. They're only made in batches. There's one used in the Black Market now. So either get it, or hope 9 others want it and are willing to pay.

I like the Comptech exhaust the best. If at any time you ever dont like the drone, you can add the quite tip inserts. (though they are probably the quietest to begin with with a nice G35 note)

I have an AERO AR25 Resonator, Mid-miffler delete, and Maganflow Race mufflers(basically big resonators) instead of stock mufflers and everyone says my car sounds awesome, almost liked a tuned up M3.
The only bad thing is the loud drone of the exhaust at crusing RPMS(1500-2100). I don't mind it, and when I open up the engine or do atleast moderate exceleration. It sounds very deep and throaty. If you can get the parts yourself, most shops will put these parts in for like 100 bucks.

I have one with just the mid muffler delete and AERO resonator, not the new magnaflow mufflers.

I am working on getting the video with the car the way it is this week.

Again, not what I think it sounds like, and people said it kind of sounds like one, not exactly, but that video was just mid muffler delete and AERO resonator, I have magnaflow mufflers now and working on getting a good video of a driveby

The only thing that rattles in my water bottle if its in the cupholder and its empty, but inside the car its deep drone, but not too loud, from outside cruising sounds like a g35 just a bit deeper, when i get on it, or higher RPMs, to me and everyone i showed it to, they said it sounds awesome, and this is coming from people who hate ricey fart-can equipped civics.

I am going to try to get driving vids next week, I am going out of town for a few days.

I paid 100 for the Magnaflow muffler because my boss had them on his E350 and did not like them, he paid 120 each, I paid 125 to buy the AERO resonator and put it on, along with mid-muffler delete, then I came back with the mufflers, bought new tips for them (40 each) plus 100 to install the new muffler and make custom piping for everything, basically everything after my cat is new custom 2.5 inch piping.

I paid about 400 for everything.

This is the resonator I have:
http://www.motorsportcafe.com/Exhaus...ator_AR25.html

I cant find what I think my magnaflow muffler are, but they are considered "Race mufflers" which are straight through, and about 14 inches long and 4-6 inches across.

edit: I think this is it http://www.magnaflow.com/02PRODUCT/s...e=main&id=8029

And these tips:

I had a full comptech exhaust which include headers, b-bibe, and axel backs, along with a highflow cat and it sounded really nice. It was nice and mellow but once you hit it it comes alive and is really nice and deep. No drone at highway speeds, you couldn't really hear it while cruising. If you can find a nice used one its worth it. If not then i would get the ATLP as i think its best performance and looking exhaust with comptech headers.

Hey guys I'm new to the site and just bought a pristine '02 3.2 TL, one owner, 74K on it and have been scouring the web for the best full exhaust system, headers to cat-back, that don't sound like a 16 year old with the teeth shattering exhaust notes. Most of the performance shops tell me that Comptech is the best for what I'm looking for, which is power, quality, reliability and a nice "non-ricey" exhaust note while not looking ridiculous coming out the back of my car. I plan on having the car for a long time so I don't mind saving up a bit to buy the best.
On another note, isn't it better, if one were to replace an entire exhaust system, to replace all the parts from the same manufacturer? Any wisdom would be much appreciated!

I have OBX headers,deleted mufflers,2 1/4" pipe off the Y ,and 3 1/2" monza resonated tips.
The exhaust sounds smooth and deep,on high rev's it will have a little snappy sound.
Driving the car sounds deep all the time and has a little extra drone around 2,500 rpm, full throttle going in v tec it sounds perfect.
