Viper 5900 Responder SST

I am wondering if anyone has experience with the Viper 5900 Responder SST? I am looking for a remote starter/alarm and this one is currently on sale. If you know any other good ones, please let me know.

Thanks.

Thanks for the responses, I decided on the 5900 because the $100 difference can be used towards the installation. I asked around for the cost of install and I got a quote for $175 if it doesn't have a bypass. $50-80 more if there is a bypass.

Anyone know what a bypass is?

Thanks in advance.

Oh and how hard would it be if I were to install it myself? I would like to know the exact wires used so that I might be able to keep this remote starter for my next car when the time comes.

Thanks.

Is it possible for me to buy the bypass? If so, what's a good brand and how much?

Ok, so I finally got the d@mn thing installed today (I know I know), and I have to say: "I should have done it sooner!"

Now I see the AUX button in the remote and I want it to be the trunk switch, but the guy tells me that I need an extra module for it to work. I have a 1999 TL and I can't find anything in the Viper manual that tells me if it's true or not. Please help!

Also, is it better to use the remote starter to start the car now because it won't over crank the starter like if I use my key? (Pressing two buttons or turning the key and have to have quick reflexes to not over crank it?)

Thanks,
