v2 for 99tl

v2 for 99tl

Is the aem v2 available for our 99tl? Would the 00-03 fit?

i think you need a reducer coupling at the throttle body.

Are you sure you want to get a V2, yeah they probably make a little more hp than a regular AEM CAI but, I have read about a lot of complaining regarding a humming noise. JUst be sure that is what you want. Spending almost 300 bucks on something that is going to annoy you isn't exactly worth it........ in my opinion of course.

Nope the V2 is only for the TL-P

^^ yeah it should be the same part only on a type S the V2 will not fit

i got my V2 today, and it comes with the throttle body coupler, and no this intake will not fit a Type-S its only made for the TL-P currently

very true - I had the V2 on my '99 for about 6 months...the sound at VTEC was amazing and the power increase was amazing also for an intake, but the humming noise that i could hear when the car was at idle finally made me sell it. I was sad to get rid of it, but I couldnt take the noise anymore.

laugh at me, but I feel a very noticeable gain from my Bomz CAI. It sounds sweet and my car is pulling much harder than before. downside is it didn't mount correctly partly because of my Thermoblok spacers, but I mounted it a different way securely and everything is cool. not bad for 50.00, in the spring or sooner I will replace the Bomz filter with a K&N.

is it easy to install AEM cold air intake.. so i guess ill stay away frm v2 cause i dont want to get something anoying either.. so yeah i really aint a engine guy this my first car i duno if i should do it my self or wat should i do pay $ to install?
