I have a 03 tl-s with comptech CAI, comptech headers, comptech cat-back, comptech sway and struts, comptech springs.
What would do recommend for possible additional horsepower/torque???? Wider down pipe??

 

UR lightweight pulley.

Tune.
NOS.
Supercharger.

thats it.. unless you wanna go crazy and get 6spd swap with a supercharger..

or 3.5 swap.

 

Tune? Tune as in.......?

tune as in tuning the engine so u can get the max out of the add ons u did. u would need a standalone for that

bump the compression and complete port and polish job. Match all the ports up i.e. headers-exhaust manifold, heads-lower intake runners, upper intake manifold, throttle body. A timing advance would probably help too but no esy way to do that without a standalone ecu or aggresive cams (which dont exist) YET

OP: Best bang for your buck is a nitrous kit. There isnt anything else that will come even close to the HP and TQ gains you will get dollar for dollar...

NOS, NX, Zex..theres several NITROUS kit suppliers out there

 

..... as well as a beefed-up tranny box.

 

Orrrrrrr, get a car that is designed to go fast.

 

Dunno what you need all that power for in a TL, but just get a nitrous kit.

 

put the 3rd gen tl-s motor in it vroom vroom ....... but..... that would take alotttttt of work!

nope 3.5 and you can have a 3.5 by changing your crankshaft

If you want a really fast car, buy a different car. But to make your TL quick add UR crank pulley, Random Tech Hi-Flow Cat, NGK iridium plugs, Apexi Neo. Non-tradional add-on's like 3.5L lower block swap, Nitrous setup, P2R Intake manifold, CT supercharger and CL-S 6 speed tranny swaps can be done.
