what are you guys using as far as new rotors and brake pads for something that's better than stock for a daily driven purpose.

i drive aggressive, i had to give up my ISF and that was the worst thing ever! i want a medium price range with mid quality doesn't have to be top notch but at least a good bang for the buck on performance and quality. thanks in advance

i've been on akebono ceramics for two years and i love them. there is hardly ever brake dust on the wheels and stops great with my rotora rotors. i think i paid $100 for all four

racing brakes rotors, racing brake pads, racing brake SS lines, Legend dual piston calipers up front and Amsoil DOT 4 fluid. That's my setup and I feel is light years better than OEM. It's literally like breaking in a truck vs. braking in a sports car difference. Stock TL brakes are below average IMO.

^ agree. OEM braking sucks. Forces me to use downshift braking sometimes

STOPTECH manufactures great quality brake rotors and pads. We use STOPTECH now for all our brake packages as their parts are better and at less of a cost. We've made a package for the TL. Here is the link:

http://store.excelerateperformance.c.../i-398965.aspx

Each of the rotors is constructed of a power alloy compound with a black coating on the hubs and vanes. The pads are a low dust, low noise compound with good initial bite and long term performance.
