Type s muffler on TL P

Has anyone tried to put stock type s muffler on a TL P
I tried searching it but nothing came up

i dont think there are gains by doing that.
so, it wouldnt beneficial.

I couldn't imagine that replacing one stock muffler with another, slightly better, stock muffler, would provide any gains.

It would bolt up, yes. I think all of the flanges are the same sizing, but the Type S diameter is slightly larger than the TL-P.

I would replace the muffler with like a magnaflow muffler, keeping your stock tips.

you'd get a growl from them!

there are also mid-mufflers, that a exhaust shop can replace with a straight pipe to emit more sound.

It will bolt right up, but there is no point doing so as you wont gain anything from it.

ask an exhaust shop to replace the mid-muffler with straight pipe!
shouldnt be more than $60 to do so.
then, you could purchase the magnaflow mufflers and attach your stock tips back on.
