Tranny Question

My tranny is fried right now and i am going to take it to acura to see if they will replace it...If i put on a CAI and exhaust... will this by any way void the extended transmission warranty?

Because sometimes they fail
What did the dealer say
Unless you are over the 7 year limit- you should have been getting free factory pays trans not 3rd party coverage
Or your ECU could have crapped
again- whats the diagnosis

Dont be surprised if it works perfect for them!
Tell them to keep it and have the Service Manager take it home.
That quickened the diagnosis on mine!

yeah i'm pretty sure they're going to notice it though, the car won't go any faster than about 15mph and the dash looks like a christmas tree so i hope the talented acura techs can figure it out

Thats part of being under 21- most "rental car/loaner car" insurance wont cover you in any state. Some places its 25 !!!!

Be glad its getting fixed now and they will do it as fast as possible- all about the shipping time for the trans.

Time for work carpool, is the best you can do.
