Ditto but....everyone has a turbo now. and since the release of the damn evos and stis...the noise is not "cool" to me anymore...

well, the comptech website is still down so i cant check any info. gotta ask it here

the SC that CT offers is for the tl-S? if thats the case, then throttle body and manifold is all i need right?

and i saw some mentioning of a kit complete with retrofit stuff, is that the CT kit or something else?

I think you would need the 98-02 accord supercharger if you have the TL-P, that when you would just need a new elbow for the throttle body. I could be wrong though.

i thought it was if your using the type-s supercharger for the TL-P you just need the new elbow?

the 98-02 accord supercharger doesnt really need much tinkering to get it to bolt on (if im not mistaken)

damn if i can get SC for 1250, i'm taking out student loans haha. one of my neighbors have some cool ass mechanic friends and i can probably have them install the SC for 250 bucks. 1500 for an SC, wooo

I think if a car that isn't already turboed, it's better off being Supercharged. With the SC you don't have to deal with the turbo lag.

and the reliability issues

one mo thang tho, i know that a turbo works by compressing the air thru it's turbine and forcing it into the engine and what not. thru the process tho, the compressed air gets hotter, and to cool it down, the car would spray fuel into the chambers after the explosions and as the gas evaporates it takes a lot of heat with it. thus consuming more gas, is there any gas issues with an SC?

i dont think so, or else we'd have several threads on here documenting that sort of issue...
