It seems like when I use the manual shifting its not as responsive as using D1,D2 etc. does anyone agree?

 

well i don't think u should use d1 a lot cause there is a reason why in SS they shift to secound auto and not let u down shift to 1st. unless offcourse u are going like 10mph on a hill or something, but if u wana here the most anoying sound u should take the exaust pipe off after the headers and go drive the car on d1 with about 5-6k rpm. u will get alot of people flippin u off haha. i just did that to see how loud it was when i was putting the x-s headers on a while back.. though i would share.

 

gate shifting isnt good for our cars.

 

in a race situation i use D1 D2 because SS will not give you all your RPMs..mine shifts at 6700 instead of 7000...this 300 rpm of vtec makes a difference..but i definatly wouldnt drive around town shifting it "manually"

 

HUH? My SS hits the rev limiter at 7000 rpm at every gear.

 

Mine is the same way. Mine hits 6700-6800 rpm in 1st then all the others it redlines. Weird.

my car must be different, in SS mode(only way I drove the car)...I can always hit redline..get's there quick at full boost sometimes.. lol

 

sombody doesnt know how to make use of the car's revs and gears
