Tinting Windows
Hello,
does anyone know where to get Tint Film
or a Tinting place for a cheap price..
Where I can tint my TL?
Is 150 cheap for full tint?
Or are their any stores in Toronto that sell tint film for like 20-50 bucks?
I can install it myself.
Just a little help please?
Thanks!

yea $150 is cheap for a full tint job---i just paid $180 for full tint plus another $50 for them to remove the tint off the back window here in wisconsin
but i seen tint at wallmart you can buy and do it yerself if ya want
yer better off having a tint shop do it cuz they offer a lifetime guarentee
good luck

Yea seriously. If u let the shop do it, u can keep coming back and complain that u still have bubbles under the tint. I tried to install the tint my self but it was a pain in the @$$ using a heat gun to form the curves...so i quit and brought it to a speciallist for $140. I love having my car wit %5 tint all around so i can flip people off and they cant see what im doing
do it yourself tint turns purple, 150 is a deal thats the price i give to friends. have it done by a reputable shop just ask people who have their windows tinted in your area and see if you are happy with the work you see on other cars.

dont waste your time doing tint yourself. unless you have experience/are a professional, it wont turn out the way you want it to.
also some tint shops offer a lifetime warranty.

here's my ebay precut tint... if u are interested in diy ask ebay seller "elitetint" to send you a free sample of his tints... i personally like the quality of their tint... you can also look at the item description on ebay...

i can't afford to pay ticket.... i am satisfied with 35% as in northwest you can barely see the sun shinning.... the pics were taken on sunny day after the car was washed...what about this pic on partly cloudy day but dirty car...
tint looks pretty dark in this pic compared to other pics....

thats not true it all depends on where you live.... Mine was 175 and it was a perfect ass job I got a discount it was usually 210 and it is still lasting and it was done back in 2004
i will keep you updated on my tint.....i would recommend op to get that tinted by a shop for that price and get lifetime warranty.... i called around all the shops near me and they were all set at $225. few shops didn't use llumar eventhough they advertise....brands i heard from the shops were suntek, advantage and one shop i called didn't even know what kind of film they use...if it's dyed, metallic or ceramic....i guy was like idk..so, i though why pay a shop that doesn't know what they are using or doing....
llumar ftw!!!!
i got llumar tints in the back, very easy to see thru.... but i paid $140 for my tint, the guy that did my tint was very proud to have llumar tint, i did it in LA btw.
did a very good job, llumar rocks! if i could, i'd do the front from the same guy

I like Madico Tint the best, but its only sold by dealers that have won tint competitions. Lifetime Nationwide Guarantee on color fade and bubbles.
Had mine on for 3 years and the meter still reads the exact percentage it did when I first got it.
Definitely want to get a shop to do it. The pre-cut kits leave gaps at the top of the windows and usually the 3rd brake light is cut out. A good shop will tuck the bottom edges on the sides and micro-cut the top edge to make it look OE. Also a good tint shop will do the back in one piece and cover the brake light.
Some shops will charge in excess of $400 for a 4 door. Especially one like ours with 7 windows, plus a sunroof for some. I had to pay a little extra to get mine darker than legal since they are so strict in VA.
