So, I recently blacked out my headlights. Now, I'm in the process of changing the parking light/turn signal bulb. I already ordered a pair of chrome/stealth bulbs from autolumination.

I was just wondering for those of you guys with blacked out headlights, what kinda bulb did you guys replace with the ugly 168 bulb that is located under the parking light/turn signal area (it's where the orange amber reflector used to sit) with ?

i know some have decided to just remove the bulb and leave it as a dummy and I know others have decided to replace it with an led. I was thinking I should go somewhere along the lines of matching the amber color cause that's the color of my parking light/turn signal bulb.

just delete it and delete the parking light too..

or an amber LED....





..... with the turn signal parking light deleted... or just delete both... idk.. its up to you.. play around with it.

so just to be clear, on the chrome housing, everyone is using the 1157 dual circuit silver chrome lenses that are $2.99 each from Autolumination? or is it the chrome dome ones that are $3.99? planning to do this my self and just wanted to make sure of the correct / best ones ..appreciate any feedback

yes, I can confirm they are 1157 for the turn signal. I got mine off ebay, for $7 (pair) free shipping

I was aware that it was 1157, just wasnt sure if peeps using the chrome dome or full chrome, i see some on ebay for $7 with shipping full chrome, thx! like to hear more about the parking light and what peeps are using / doing as the OP was wondering as well ...correct me if im wrong, isnt the parking light in the CL a amber light as well? or maybe im seeing a reflection, last i looked, looked like two amber 1157 on each side

I think I'm going to run switchback LEDs for my parking/turn signal and either a amber or a white LED for the "marker" light.
