For those with Wings West or used to

Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone had the WW front lip on their car?
Does it go over the stock lip that was already there or do you have
to remove it and replace it?
Thanks.

I assume your talking about the whole kit? You have to remove the stock stuff first.

I was only talking about the front lip.
Cause I see pictures and it looks like it goes over the bumper and
it doesn't look like you have to remove the bottom piece of the bumper.

Your whole thread doesn't really seem to make sense. When you say stock lip, are you talking about oem front lip? if so, yes. you do have to remove that to order to install ww front lip. but why though? oem>ww

Not the OEM Lip Kit.
That lip that's already there if you don't have the OEM Lip kit.
That really thin front lip piece.
And I'm going to try something with the WW front lip.

the stock bumper (with no lip) is a one piece design, no need to remove anything.

Ahh, that's what I was looking for.
Thanks for the quick replies.
The reason I'm asking is because I just received Honda Saber front bumper
and the 99-01 Front OEM Lip is too long. I don't want to ruin the OEM front lip.
So I'm deciding to use the WW front lip and slice off the fins and try to fit it on the Saber bumper.

That's what I'm going to do, but I'm still deciding if I should sacrifice my OEM front or get the WW front OR try to find JDM Front Lip.

^ if only if you can get somebody that'll be willing to ship you a big box for the JDM front lip.. then do it... if not.. just cut up the wings west one... sell the OEM one for money.

I do too. Unless I can find another OEM Front lip to mess around with,
I'll have to search around for the JDM Front lip or go with the WW front.

There was a post talking about it.

https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tl-performance-parts-modifications-116/will-99-01-lip-kit-fit-02-03-tl-717853/

From what I think is you can do it but you have to modify the tabs on the lip
in my opinion.

Well for now, I didn't buy the front WW lip yet because I was contacting someone in Japan to look for the JDM front lip, but as reported, they can't find any in Japan.
Doesn't it come with instructions on how to install the front? It looks like it goes over the stock lip.

Nice. I got it used to it didn't come with anything =/ My main concern are the side fin things. I couldn't get those to line up correctly.

Yeah I think the fins just stick out, but if I do tend to buy the WW front. I'm going to chop those fins off. :P
But from your point, does it really just go over the stock lip?

I'm honestly not sure. I test fitted it both with the lip on and off and I wasn't positively sure.

I'm going to try again tomorrow so I'll let you know.
