just had it installed today at a friends shop. sounds great when revving and at wot... but while freeway cruising, there is quite a bit of noise.

would getting a larger resonator make a difference in the freeway drone? or what can i do to help it.


i was actually considering chopping off the tips and welding on straight 3" stainless pieces. but i would prefer to go another route if it would make a difference.

ok, well i did some more reading around and hopefully a larger resonator will do the trick.

i ordered a magnaflow 12640. 27"long, 6"round, 2.5"id/od. should that help with the freeway drone?

isn't that big of a resonator going to defeat the purpose of your aftermarket exhaust u just put on?
