- Light coats
- Go heavy on the final two coats you decide to go, so it's a glossy wet look.
- Let it sit for a few hrs to dry

Yes, make sure you clean them pretty good before you apply.

Apply in light coats...
Then wetsand and polish/buff at the end to make them super reflective. That's what I read somewhere.
I think it was on a scion forum...google nightshades and tail lights

Prep work is clutch. Make sure they are cleaned incredibly well. Light coats are the best.

have you ever though of doing it the reverse way? Perhaps have the clear part be a darker shade?

Try doing 10 sets of tail lights a day. I've been around that stuff for so long, I almost pass out every time I smell it. If you have all the right tools, you can knock it out pretty quick. I can do a set of tails all dry, polished, and installed in about 45mins

Looks pretty good. At that shade, you can always go darker if you want ;-)

Those on the 2nd gen are not compounded and polished, right?
I think if you did that it would be a lot more glossy and shiny!
