yeah, I used the rockblocker, front and rear. Looks great.

The reason I went with the Rockblocker is because if you use the paint and decide you don't like them or screw them up you are screwed, the rockblocker tints come off if you get sick of them.

i used the vht nighshade spray, just sprayed it on with about 5-7 coats and buffed it out a week later and looks great, i had them for about a year now with no problems washing, buffing, waxing, no paint peeling or chips.

hmm..i love the way that looks Rajca, did you just tape it out and paint them on the outside and did you use a clear coat?

and the reason i didnt wana use the rockblocker one is that ive heard that you cant really get them on there good. ive heard theres always bubbles and cant get it to fit perfectly? can anyone testify to this? or agianst lol?

i took the whole tail light out from the car. used degreaser on the tail light, wiped it, and started spraying light coats and then 2 heavier ones, be careful not to put too much or u might get some paint run. no clear coat just buffed it and waxed it.

i think that if u take the rockblocker to a tint shop they could do it for you and it will probably look good.

I have rockblocker on the taillights and they look perfect, no bubble, no wrinkle, and fit perfectly and I did them myself. It's not easy to apply the tint film and remove all the bubble and avoid wrinkle but it's not that hard either. Working slowly is the key. Rockblocker tint film is pre-cut but depends on environment temperature, it might be little smaller or little larger. The good thing is you can stretch the film out a little or cut it to make it fit. Have the film tint for few years now and still look very good condition.

u can use film or spray. The spray comes over with paint thinner, its not permanent. Ive done numerous sets of tailights with the spray and never had any problems. My most recent set I had my boy hit with a clearcoat at his body shop so I could have a nice gloss on em.

With the rockblocker you will get bubbles if there is moisture left under the film. I used a lot of water to apply mine then when I got it looking good I just used a hairdryer to heat up the film and it dried any moisture left under it.
I have not had any problems with mine but I have only had it on for 3 mths....
