I couldnt find any answers here,but what does removing the under hood felt/insulation do, as well as the plastic peices?

what are the cons to doing this in a cold/hot climate such as canada if any, why are they their in the 1st place lol?

Removing the plastic pieces on and around the engine will let the engines heat disipate faster and engine will be a tad bit cool. When cars off it will let the engine cool down faster bc their is no plastic pieces trapping in the heat. Removing the felt will let the engine bay heat escape faster. Really no cons, just looks sloppier with out the pieces

no real benefit for removing either for a daily driver. It will however make it look cheaper with every thing removed

Are any of those pieces there to help prevent an engine fire from spreading to fast? I seem to remember something written about that in the 3G thread about the OEM intake manifold spacer.
