Removing emblems on 3.2tl

I own a 2002 3.2tl. I would like to remove all of the markings off of the back trunk to give it a nice clean look. Does anybody know if the emblems are bolted on or glued on? How would I go about removing them?

U can't remove the (A). It has two aligning studs on it ans their are two holes in the trunk. Everything else is glued on

Just a thought but if your 02 is white like mine or a brighter color there will be an outline of what ever you take off because the paint underneath all that hasn't really experienced weather and such.

my ssm tl badges came off easy and after a nice buff and wax no difference in the paint. no my smr cl (san marino red) left some faint markings of being badged.

I would like to do this, I know nothing about waxing yet and don't have the time to learn it, specially in cold winter. So hopefully mine won't leave marks either.

The second pic is the nuts that is holding the "A" in on the engine bay cover.

The trunk has studs so you are going to have to shave it and then take the trunk lid liner off and get at the studs that are holding the emblem in place.

They should be either 8 or 10mm.

you can remove A C U R A and 3.2TL (S) using the diy, but removing the (A) will leave two holes that need to be shaved and painted over.

^as long as you don't do any damage to the paint, you can always save the emblems and glue/stick them back on later if it comes down to sellin it..

quick question.

Does the wheather matter when debadging? I put the Honda grille on today and took off the 3.2 TL. I ready to take off the ACURA and put on the INSPIRE but i was wondering first do i need to be in warm conditions for the double-sided tape to get the best bond it can get?? 10 day forecast for my town is 40-50 degrees.
