I'm hoping that with the headers it will be more noticeable, but I wouldn't be able to compare it to stock cuase I don't have the headers and the mufflers is no longer in my possesion.

Don't let this discourage you from doing it. But I would have rather spent my 40 bucks on on a one legged stripper, just cause that would be fun to watch.
You will never be able to hear it inside the car over the intake (well you can hear it when its straight pipe, but you still hear the intake more) you do however hear it outside the car where its more important.

No cause then it would get really annoying inside the car. Its best left outside the car

i have a short ram(which is loud) but i do notice the exsaust is much louder when im driving around town and keep wihin 1-2k rpms any higher than that and the intake will over power it. but it has a nice transition. also on a side note it might just be me, but it seemed to get a little more noticable after a few days and even more after a month. common sence says that shouldnt happen, its prolly just my mind playing ricks on me

what do you have to use to connect the space after you remove the muffler and what are the materials or parts did you need to buy.

You just take it somewhere to get it cut off and then they weld a piece of pipe to fill in the gap. Take it to a muffler shop.

I dont know what your expecting for sound but it wont get any louder than it is now. Did you remove both resonators? The tone should have changed .Have you heard your car from outside while its driving away? It is louder and thats what you want. You want it louder outside the car, not inside.

^i only removed the big resonator. i can hear the difference inside but its very little. i was expecting to be able to hear it more inside the car. i feel like removing the smaller one now that you mention it.

i havent had the chance to hear what it sounds like from the outside yet but mayb i'll think differently after i get to hear it.

Got mine done today, only took the big one off probably gonna go back and do the other one. Not a big noticable difference it just gives your car a little deeper voice around 1 and 2ks rpm and i can also hear it when i down shift. But its worth 30 bucks

I See There Is A Lot Of Opinions On The Sound As Not What They Expected But What Sound Should This Produce A Loud Or Deeper Sound Like The G //350z

if you read the last couple of pages you will find that out.

and no removing 1 or both will not throw any CEL

altho when i got mine done it did throw a CEL but that was because the idiot that did it accidentaly pulled out the wire for my cat.

if you do throw a code after the shop did something wrong.

I'm going to have to play the devil's advocate on this one. I have headers and axlebacks installed and after removing the "small" resonator, I started experiencing resonance within the 2-2.25k rpm.

If you HAVE to take a resonator out, take the BIG one...DO NOT touch the small resonator immediately after the CAT.

Perhaps...but I haven't paid attention to it lately, since I rarely do any city driving. Once you go fast enough, tire & wind noise takes over.

removing both wont change anything but sound, emissions are fine no code. resonators are only to muffle sound, nothing more

Nice clip. I find that exhaust notes always sound different when actually at speed, moving, as opposed to revving it while parked.

Any chances for a drive-by or in-car sound clip?
