Recommended Timing Belt and Water Pump?
hey guys, I'm taking my car into a family mechanic to get my timing belt and water pump replaced. Should I just use the generic part available at the mechanic shop or is there any recommended aftermarket parts that are better in quality and build? Please let me know. Thanks.

A1 Cardone makes a re-manufactured water pump with warranty. www.rockauto.com is only $40, basically they replace the worn part, test it out, and recondition everything else.
I have a 2nd Generation Legend re-manufactured caliper on my TL for over 1 year, there are members that used similiar A1 Cardone for over 3 years and quality is pretty good.
It is pretty wasteful to fill the landfill with parts that are re-usable, also you can Google a 5% coupon for rockauto.com, something you can't do by going to Acura.
