Rear spoiler with camera now available

Ok, you guys have been bugging me about these and until now we have not had much luck with them.

But I submitted my last batch of price checks and it looks like I can order them!!!! I just got this info TODAY!!!!

NH623M is the only color we can get. Satin Silver I believe. These are brand new spoilers and come with everything see in this diagram:

We even supply instructions....they are in Japanese, but its better than nothing, right?

Price is $850 for these jobbies, and that includes transit from Japan. Shipping from me to you is about $60. Socal peeps can pickup.

Anyway, I need to get 50% deposit via paypal or credit card to order for you. I need to get a deposit asap since I need to submit my next order within 24 hours!!!

Wait time is usually 2-4 months, but it could take a little longer. Bottom line is, if it does not arrive after 6 months you will get a full refund of your deposit amount. Those who have ordered from me an been patient have always been happy in the end.

Anyway, CALL TODAY TO GET PAYMENT INFO! 949-295-1668

Other parts available now too..."Inspire" side sills, Modulo Emblems, and front lip spoilers in NBP.

I am getting them on a special order basis. If nobody puts down a deposit, I will not get any. They are too expensive for me to just order for stock. I would not wait. My supplier tends to get stuff one month and not the next.....

Interesting!

So the camera image would be displayed on the navigation screen?

Would some sort of image converter be required?

I dunno how it is hooked up...a few on here have done it....but yes, it is designed to display on the nav screen when you engage reverse.

just to note, the lights will be green since these are coming from japan, so if you want to wire the lights in the spoiler they will need to be modded to red to be street legal.

But pretty kick ass that you can get these, and not a bad price either.

If I had the money I would have already placed my order. If I can save enough for the deposit I'll let you know.

I am interested without a doubt, but before I dish out close to a grand I want to know for sure that it is compatible without having to spend another $500 and waiting another 3 months for some required converter that is only available from Japan.....

Well at best your getting a spoiler that only a hand full of people in the states have which makes it well worth it. And it shouldnt be hard to hook it up the the navi screeen if it doesnt come with the conection for it

That's a good point....and about the side-marker lights - they're clear lenses with green LED's correct?...I suppose those shouldn't be too difficult to convert to red....

Men... I got to say that's really cool! I had to spend a pretty penny for my wing with camera from japan. If you are really getting it from Honda Japan, it will come with the Clarion box and connecting harness. The problem is that our USDM cars dont have the vehicle harness that connects up to the clarion box.

The Type-s in japan comes stock with a TV tuner, which is connected to the Navi brain in the trunk. When you get this clarion box, you have to unplug the vehicle harness that goes to the TV tuner and connect it to the clarion box, and the new harness for the camera will go betwen the clarion box and the Navi brain.

I wanted to keep my install stock, but was unable to do so. I even tried going down the Honda Pilot,.Odyssey and MDX camera harness, to see if I could have them plug and play, but with no success.

So I opted to buy Dom's converter box, and that's what I used to connect my camera, and some other stuff since it has two vide options. That works nicely since I connected it to a "back up" signal so it engages when I go in reverse. I also have it with an idenpendent switch to control it at will. The box also controls the brightness.

And yes, you have to change out the lights in the corners, since they will be green. And to connect them the right way, the will come on with the parking lights, or you can hack it and do what you want, brake light, etc.

This was once a very unique item... good luck to you guys who jump on board. I get tons of compliments on that wing, and when they see the camera, and know it's a Honda product, even more!

Laters!

We aren't writing essays and getting graded. However, the purpose of a forum is to communicate, not to see how many abbreviations and other text messaging gibberish you can string together.

I know this is an old thread, but is there any chance that someone on here mave a connection to purchase an A-spec spoiler w/o the camera? I would love to get the spoiler, but I guess I'm just not really conscerned about the back up camera. Anyway, I saw this thread just today and it gave me a lil hope. I thought all the A-spec and Inspire wings were long gone like the Mugen lip spoiler. lol So, if anyone knows anybody or place that can get me an A-spec spoiler......PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
Thanks
