So pretty much everything would be custom/fab'd from the j pipe and back?

Dual 100% even if it's not true dual you won't get much if any performance difference unless your building the motor and/or going FI.

No. It would be fabbed from the the exhaust manifold back. There would be NO J pipe. If there was it wouldnt be dual.

Guy on the MDX side saw good results from it. Its pretty close to what i have, when i rebuild the motor in a month or so i will fab a true dual with a X pipe.

It's not worth it to go custom. So I vote, "dual".

it looks better than having a Y pipe hanging below ur rear bumper, I might see it differently if more bends meant more power, but on earth the quickest way to get somewhere is still a straight line, if it were not for the bend for the axle Id have a completly straight exhaust. My single exhaust, with headers, no cat, 2 resonators and a flowmaster , is the freest flowing, best sounding, single exhaust on a 02 TL-S that I have ever heard or witnessed plus its better for the engine to have an equalized atmosphereic back pressure on all cylinders, not achieved by true duals.

single would proably be best for power if you are not worried about noise, less bends=less restrictions, but also you lose the weight of that second muffler, which can sometimes be something like 20-30 pounds

but if you would be worried about noise, duals would be better, the exhaust gas does not have to flow through each one as fast (cause it only has to handle half the exhaust), which gives it more time to quiet it down; and you can still get it to basically have the exact same restriction as one with a straight through muffler, but quieter
just that you have the added weight of that additional muffler and plumbing

No offense but I think my magnaflows sound a lot better. They are a whole lot deeper that's for sure and more power? What are we talking like 1-2 HP? It won't make a difference really. I'm partial to dual's because they look better, but I'm always interested in people doing unique things to their cars and FlacoJ props to you!!!

1st part of the clip is just magnaflows street series with 2.5" piping n 0 resonators...

2nd part is with headers...

kinda tempted to try the race series...its 3" through the muffler
