Hows the paint on a 2000 WDP after de-badging? Will a buffer be necessary

 

usually some Goo-Gone will take care of the adhesive residue- followed by some basic polishing of the entire trunk lid and wax it up afterwards

Use heat and dental floss and glue dissolver - wd40 works- to remove

The center `A` has 2 bolts holding it on- everything else is just double sided tape
