I contacted Comptech to find more info on their products and found out they were purchased by another company for only the race team portion.

The person I spoke to referred me to CT engineering for Comptech products...

WHO THE HELL IS CT ENG.?

Is it still Comptech products with the comptech badging?

From the pics on the site, none of the products have any badges. (neither Comptech or CT)

I also noticed this claim from their site "Cat-back exhaust systems have been tested and do NOT make more power"

Then why does Apexi make a catback? and the ATLP gives the most gains and is a catback.

Anyone used or using CT products? What do you think?

I spoke to someone at Comptech. He claims that they are not the same company and that "COMPTECH" no longer manufactures any parts, unless used for their personal race team.

 

The new parts made by CT-Engineering are the same as the Comptech parts, but without the Comptech name. They can't use the name due to legal reasons.

Most axlebacks and catbacks don't make noticeable power gains. They are mostly for sound. However, the ATLP catback DOES increase horsepower.

they parts are the same..i got a set of header from then ..come with ct engineering logo on it

 

i talked to a guy @ct he worked for comptech he said that they tested a base tl nontype S with comptech headers,icebox and alxe back exhaust and the tl net 25whp on the dyno they no longer make a mid pipe because u gain no hp that is what he said k
