baught it from 187_faq from this site, or some name like that, came in yesterday and got right to work.

tip: take off the bottom panel where the filter will be for the silencer removal, its almost impossible from the top.


Initial impressions:

start up: much more of a air flow sound, smoother sounding idle
revving: you can hear the tb opening and springing closed

Driving regularly: sounds much much deeper, the more throttle you give it the deeper it gets.

Vtec: orgasmic, right at the cross over is by far the best sound this car ever makes.

over all power, pulls much harder in higher gears, and in vtec it screams, if i open it up at 10 it will down shift into 1st and on the 1-2 shift it will lay down about 25 feet of rubber if i keep the pedal to the floor, but im also on stock tires with about 35% tread left.

nope, otherwise stock tl-s - the intake and tints

 

man get some headers and you'll have a f#$%@ng orgasm!

 

i want to keep this car, but my stepdad wants a 05 tl 6m and the way i see it ill wnat to drive that all the time.

but this intake made me fall inlove with the tl-s all over again.

im really not sure what im doing, its basicly tl-s, sti, 20th ae gti; im not sure where im going to go but im sure i will be more than happy with all them.

if i were to keep this, id add some megan headers, apexi ws2 catback, springs/struts, and some audio equpitment.

argh i cant wait to order my intake...i already have headers and i cant wait to hear that deep throaty roar from my engine....i might go with the V2
