pullys

someone is selling a set of aem underdrive pullys. are these the pullys i need to get power? they are for Acura CL/TL2001-2002 3.2L V6 and type "S. will this fit on my 99 tl? the aem part number is AEM Part#23-7027B

Unless there is a light weight crank pulley its not worth it.

x2, the light weight crank pulley is the one that give u the power, the other pulleys like alternator, ... dont so shit for power.

in this set there is only two pulleys. so i shouldnt get this?

so i should get it right? its the light weight crank and what else? and this says it for 00 and up tl/cl willl it fit on my 99 tl

it will fit. not sure what the small one is for (water pump or alt.).

ok o yea is the bomz Racing Lightweight Power Underdrive Crank Pulley any good. i like that because its silver and not blue

never heard of bomz, id go with a well know company, you wont see the pulley when its installed (just the outside edges which no one will notice

hold up. looking at the pics and looking at my ur pulley pics. the crank pulley is not in their. looks like just a water pump pulley and an alternator pulley.

u dont want those

If i remember right AEM doesnt make a crank. The other pulleys dont do any thing other than look good. There are a few CL members that have Bomz with zero issues.

aem does NOT make crank pulleys for our cars. The bomz one works fine. I got mine for $35 shipped.

i heard that the ligh weight underdrive pulley can mess up like some kind of rod bearing or some kind of bearing. is that true

OMG from where? Thats dirt cheap? I've never heard of that is it the same concept as xs headers, just knock-offs of UR? And what kind of gains, noticable????

changing your pulley will not affect anything in a negative way. your fine, ppl had them for thousands if not hundreds of thousands miles on their cars and have had no problems

No, not on ours. On some cars yes, BUT those are on cars that the crank pulley is an externally balanced harmonic balancer (typically american made cars). If you read most of the many other pulley threads its been answered in depth.

o ok cause some of the guys at my school that drives integras and rsx said that. a?nd so the one i found on craigslist isnt a crank pully?

we know, he was giving the link to the 2.5 tl guy. i spend $190 shipped from canada for my ur stock diameter light weight pulley, their is a huge difference in weight.

it will fit as far as i know. i noticed that my rpm climb up faster. and i was chirping 2nd gear again.
