Hi,

Several months ago my check engine light illuminated and the code stored was PO1457. I replaced my gas cap, canister, and canister vent valve. Prior to this I replaced my purge valve (under hood). The engine light did not come back on again until last evening. I basically replaced every EVAP part, short of the hoses that may or may not be cracked or problematic. At this point, since I do not have to worry about passing emission inspection, and because this situation does not appear to be hurting engine performance, I may ignore the check engine light, or work on replacing all hoses. I do not want to spend the money on putting it through a smoke test, for reasons explained previously.

I am having trouble finding the EVAP hoses. Does anyone have a link? Part number(s)?

Any other recommendations for the PO1457? And, am I correct, that a small evap leak does NOT affect engine performance/gas mileage.
