OK guys.. I have magnaflow mufflers and I removed the mid muffler.

The problem is that below 2000 rpms its really loud, above and it sounds like heaven on wheels

do any of you magnaflow guys have this problem?

also any ideas how to get the lower rpms quiet but leave the upper range how it is?

I still have a few exhaust mods to go

1)enlarging the exhaust to 2.5" when i go 3.5 and boost
2)headers... might get some comptechs reallll soon


I'm thinking these mods are only gonna make it louder, so maybe throwing in a small resonator where the midmuffler was would do the trick?

Most with that setup ran any where between a 16 and 22" resonator to quell the sound. You may want to look into one.

thanks for the replies, fsttyms i think i'll try a 16" one, do you think it would quiet it too much? or will it still sound mean when your on it?
