A high flow Cat won't help out much at all unless you have FI. It may give you a small gain up in the higher RPM's like a catback exhaust does, but those gains are minimal, 5whp. not worth the money unless you are FI IMO.

I have heard the same and would have to agreed with that train of thought. considering you will lose a little low end torque when adding a catback and gain soem up high, I bet it is the same situation with a high flow or Bigger cat.

i feel theres room for an aftermarket cat without sacrificing power... but it will come at a cost. to answer your question in short, there is nothing bolt-on, at the moment, that will help your situation out... unless you are turbo/blown.

It's an inexpensive replacement if your OEM CAT goes bad.
