There is no cutting and welding involved in this exhaust install correct? I believed that it bolted to the Catalytic converter, but someone mentioned something to me about cutting the factory exhaust off and welding my new one on. Please tell me I don't have to! It would make my day.

there are a few points in the exhaust that are welded to the frame. well only 1 i think. right at the second resonator. and then there are the hangers that are connected by rubber. other than that i dont know. and you will most likely have to reweld the new exhaust back in the same spot. so it doesnt slap around and break. should be an easy weld if you have something to support the exhaust while you weld. a good friend would be great for that job.

Will this exhaust fit my 2001 Acura 3.2 TL, because it says for the Type-S? I want to eventually install the oem body kit, but I want the car to keep a stock look. I dont want the exhaust to hang or stickout, so will this fit?

Thanks for the help.

I just installed the exhaust myself this past saturday night. It was fairly easy to do with two people and if you get a brand new one it should fit just fine. It might hang a little low for your liking but you can just cut and weld the hangers to a height you like. But it will fit fine. I have the same model car. Good exhuast!

the car is going to a muffler shop to straighten some things out. Should be done by Wednesday. I'll post pics then, and as for a sound clip if I can figure it out I'll post it somewhere.

Good deal...We have the same car, so I am going to order that system and have a muffler shop install it to my specs. Thanks for the help.

Look forward to seeing some pics when you get the car back.

Here are some quick pics I snapped, they aren't great but it was about to storm so here they are. The car hasn't been to the shop yet due to my inability to drop it off. I've been kinda busy around here.

I'll post new pictures after I get the work done. Also if anyone knows How much The WW rear will come down from the bumper like a measurement I need to figure that out according to how I'm going to raise the mufflers. Thanks guys.
