P2R gasket

does anyone have experience with the P2R thermal gaskets for the IM? better/worse/same as the outlaw gaskets? the one gasket is alot cheaper than the thermoblok kit, just doesnt include the TB gasket. i tried searching around didnt find anything. thanks

Im happy with outlaws since I already have it~

they are 2 different ways to keep the temps from transferring to the manifold
the more places you can keep that transfer down- the better

the TB has a heater system to prevent icing inside, so a spacer between the manifold and it is a bonus-- in my opinion

maybe in atl you can do without the TB heater, but I travel 4 climates in a simple day trip-sea level to mountains in a few hours..deep snow to sunny beach

in the airplane we call it `Carb Ice`, Ive experienced this in flight-not fun!!
ice builds up as narrowing of inlet passage chills the air temp and finally clogs, or limits the air plate movement
(different method on cars but same idea)

Its so easy to occur that we always act as if conditions are ripe- and use carb heat before reducing throttle

cars: leave your system alone unless actual race car performance required

I'm thinking about getting the P2R intake manifold gasket. I already have the outlaw engineering thermoblok on there though. I'm going to replace that paper intake manifold gasket that comes with the outlaw IM spacer since I'm cleaning out my IM and EGR. Outlaw doesnt sell the paper IM gasket on its own, they said to order the metal OEM one.

Right now on my car it's OEM metal gasket -> Outlaw spacer -> Outlaw paper IM gasket -> IM. Would removing the paper gasket and adding the P2R gasket instead fit properly?
