NSX Drive Train??

I'm just brainstorming here... I love my 2G TL. All the bells and whistles work but it has almost 360,000 miles on it and leaks everything pretty bad! I'd love to make it into a sleeper street machine and keep everything genuine Acura.
Has anyone seen or heard of swapping the drive train from an NSX into one of these? I wonder how big an undertaking that would be... Of course, the motor would have to be built and turbo'd, and hopefully the NSX tranny would be able to handle it. Might have to go with a different tranny since mounting a motor from a mid-engine car into the front bay of another might be a little challenging.
Hhhmmmm... Sure would be fun to have a 2G TL that is actually fast, like, really fast! [and doesn't sound like Chevy]

Nevermind... a little research and I see the better option. NSX guys want OUR motors in their cars, lol!
OK, back to the drawing board.

Are you including or excluding the 4 wheel electric hybrid awd system? Not sure where you would put the extra components, get them to fit in a smaller package, and working together? The 17-20 MDX Sport Hybrid and 14-20 RLX Sport Hybrids shared similar 400lbs EV components (minus around 200lbs of mechanical sh-awd for 400lbs for EV Sport Hybrid):
- 7DCT for MDX/RLX or 9DCT for NSX with built in electric motor to work as 1st gear, electric generator to power wheels in EV/tq vector modes, charge battery pack, and send regen power to battery pack with braking
- Twin Motor Unit (TMU) diff to power wheels, tq vector, drive in reverse, and regen brake in 1wd or 2wd configurations
- DC inverter with secondary liquid cooling system to replace alternator to power EV components and provide 12v power for electrical A/C, heat, info-tainment, etc..
- battery pack to store power from DCT generator from the motor, rcv power from regen braking, and provide electric power for drive wheels in 1-4 wheel drive combinations.
- ECU programming for different drive modes (Normal, Comfort, Sport, and/or Sport+), steering feel, throttle response, electronic damper %, EV only mode, and 1wd-4wd drive modes.

This is the reason car manufacturers don't like hybrid vehicles because you have mesh together two drivetrains (even more difficult with smaller sedans/coupes). Pretty much every issue you have with I.C.E. and B.E.V. are combined into one.
