Not sure if these are 6000k?

This morning I installed 6000k HID's I bought off of ebay. But the moment I switched on my headlights they looked exactly the same as my stock 41k or 43k HID's but with like a little more greenish blue hue. I wanted that Blue blue I've seen all over the internet. As you can see in the picture I have led's that I know are definitely 6000k (I need to get rid of them they are so cheep). Do you think I was sold the wrong bulbs? Or is 6000K led's a different color than 6000k HID's?

Thanks, This forum is so freaking awesome!

I agree 6000k does look awesome, but...I'm just asking, do these look like 6000k to you? because they don't to me. This is what 6000k is supposed to look like right?

Our stock HID kit isnt as strong as the aftermarket ones
The aftermarket HID kits puts out more color then our OEM ones

I have 8k bulbs on my Oem kit and looks like 6k

What do you mean they arent as strong? Unless you upgrade to the 55w kit they are ALL the same, 35w is 35w. BULBS on the other hand are not all the same. Not all 6k are 6k. You never know what you are getting when you buy cheap bulbs from china.

Dont look for the blue lights, blue lights dont help you see, no oem light is blue. Also HIDs take quite a few hours to burn into the actual color. Give them some time.

Thats a good point, I just wanted some opinions since this was my first HID upgrade and everyone on acurazine some how know everything. I also kind of freaked since they didn't match my led's (which I NEED to replace with some actual fog lights)

Night pics usually show more of the color than during the day
