Noob Question!!!

i've been n here for a while now but still don't know what a AEM bypass valve is.

I would like to see one work. I know that if you get the intake filter soaking wet the bypass valve allows air to come in rather then suck up water all the way through to your engine.

Am I wrong or right?

Sorta. Soaking wet wont do any thing to the motor. It would have to be submerged under water where the suction required is enough to have teh flaps on the bypass open. There is/was a video of the owner of AEM and his NSX submerging the filter in a bucket of water to show it works. I personally wouldnt use one. Id just use my head and not drive thru that deap of water
