Nitrous- 2001 TL-P
Okay guys, just an FYI (for credibility) I'm not a "fast and the furious ricer", contrary to the name, lol NAAWWWWSSS
I've had the bottle on 2 honda d-series, 1 b-series honda, and a 200sx SE-R.
So now that that's out of the way...
Any stories/advice/numbers on nitrous with our cars? I'd be looking at around a 50-55 shot... typically I've run dry, but I'm not adverse to a wet kit. How's the tranny gonna like it
Just some advice, thanks guys!!

Thanks that helps a bit... so you think wet is the way to go? Most people say it is on non-4 cylinders.
Any guesses on the tranny? They're already crap... is this just dooming it for sure?

I ran a nitrous kit for over a year prior to going turbo on my tl. I ran between a 75 and 100 shot using a zex dry kit. No problems with engine or transmission yet. Good luck. The one thing I hated about the nitrous bottle, it seems to run out too fast. lol

Thanks for the testimonial!!
As for nitrous... remember we drive an entry-level luxury sedan... straight is about all I'm going to be doing with it, and other than the occasional race/trip to the track low 15's @90+mph is fun enough to drive around.

Auto-x is so much driver not car that I don't care how you do there... if you are tearing it up on a roadcourse with a near stock TL-P, you guys either have a TIGHT course, or really slow cars in WI...
For being the type of car it is, the body roll is minimal, I'll agree, but the power is lacking, and it's still a heavy heavy car. It'd still be a fun car to roadcross though, because well... road course racing is a blast...

and auto x like any other form of racing is yes alot of driver, but it also is alot of car, just like road course racing. Ive hung with modified cars like mustangs at Road America with the TL other than the straight where yes the power makes a big difference. in terms of corners and braking the tl out did it
