Best bang for the buck?....

XS headers from ebay... $150-ish
K&N air filter maybe $45
or an AEM or Injen intake $150-ish

Resonator delete... $=labor (your or theirs)

Just Basic upgrades... intake & exhaust should get you started.

GL!

Another option is a UR Crank pully. It adds 8-15hp i believe and costs 180 shipped from Excelerate here on the forums.

Another intake is the Comptech Icebox which will give you the most performance gain for an intake. The downfal is that it costs 265 shipped. The company is also going out of business so you need to get one while they're still availible.

From my readings here... i think that the XS headers are the best bang for the buck.

Easy and cheap

Do the Seafoam treatment to clean all the carbon from intake and engine-twice-$16
K&N air filter gets all the air to the engine it can use $45

UR underdrive pulley does not ADD hp- it frees up what is already in the engine by
lessening the rotating mass weight- engine revs faster- gets to vtec faster and harder
On dyno -appears- to add 8-12 hp and is used by many here as the first mod.
Amazing differance in freeway on ramp performance

And NO extra noise for the Law to notice!

No mod but FI 'adds' hp, but everyone knows what the phrase means. Thanks, for the semantics lesson, Dad.

Indeed a 10 page thread right there in Gen 2 section

Title Seafoamed the ol TL

Its a cleaner you put in the tank and directly into a vac line to the running engine.
Same product used in the $99 fuel system cleaning done at auto shops, you are just putting it in yourself
Pics drawings arrows tips more tips and more tips.
So simple and effective everyone should do it!
