Need to replace exhaust

A while ago, I accidentally backed into a taller curb with my 03 TL-S. The impact pushed the muffler back towards the front of the car, which in turn somewhat crimped the piping on the passenger side exhaust. The "crimp" is before the muffler flange, but after where the piping splits from 1 into 2 sections. I need a new muffler obviously, as it eventually cracked at the weld and literally fell off. I'm probably going to need a new "mid" pipe as the current piping on the car is bent from the impact. I'm sure this will cause the muffler to sit at an angle and not allow the hangars to be connected to the undercarriage.

My question is this. I found THIS site, http://www.racepages.com/parts/muffler/acura/tl.html, and was curious if I could use these exhaust pieces? Specifically P/N: REPA961131 and P/N: REPA961133. I'm sure the "mid" pipe will work just fine. But what about the muffler? I was told the TL-S uses special mufflers not shared by the base TL. This site lists the muffler for all TL's (including the Type S).

Any thoughts, opinions? The car is staying bone stock. No aftermarket exhausts are an option. Thanks.

well the TL-S has bigger piping than the TL-P. 2.25" vs 2". so if you find an OEM style muffler you could just take it to an exhaust shop and have them replace the piping thats damaged, instead of replacing the entire exhaust. they can also properly adjust it so that it attaches to the hangers and sits level with the bumper.

I went stainless steel custom at Lous exhaust...great job went cat back 2.75 all the way back with two straight through mufflers..had to add a resonator because of the drone..sounds great and gained 50 miles to a tank of gas.. and a noticable bump in hp. I have a cai also..I always travel the same every week ...I am quite happy
