Need help on my body kit
Hey guys. I am trying to get a new body kit for my 2001 Acura 3.2TL, and I have found the one i like but it is for an 02-03 TL. Will it be able to fit onto my 01 TL???

body kit! do it! ignore the nay sayers. there's too many lips on here.
if you're talking full on body kit, the front end of the 99-01 tl is different than the 02-03. the late models have a round part in the headlight, different hood, fenders, and obviously front bumper

um, the only real bodykits available are sarona, value sports, and mugen front bumper. Seeing as to mugen is discontinued and value sports is near impossible to find...that leaves sarona. big 
but to answer your question, the sides and rear of all 2nd gen TLs are the same. the front would be different.

Um the Mugen is not a body kit. It's an add-on to the existing bumper.
, and if u decide to get the body kit get ready get flamed by most of us

Hmm.. im curious. I have a 01 TL as well, and im trying to get a lip or even a sick body kit that looks classy on my car. Anyone know of cheap places or websites to get them off?

value kit is not the only kit out there. there are other japanese companies out there that makes body kits, its just the matter of if you want to spend the money and wait like half a year for it to arrive on your door step.

^^ wtf? Thats all OEM lip kit that is pictured. Also they used the pictures from someone on this forum.
They Sonora bodykit DOES NOT look like that at all unless they have change their style...which i doubt. Thats false advertisement right there...i wouldn't trust that website with my life. I hope you didn't order that!!

yea i kno im not gona buy it 4rm dem.....i just put dat link up nd used da picture as an example.....nd its definately overpriced....
duz any1 kno where i can get any type of kit dat looks like that th0?

yea, the fronts not gonna fit...
sides and rear will. and you can get those sides and rear from an ACTUAL dealer..
sides at almost any Acura dealer. jus call them to order one for you.
Rear at Wings West. get it painted from a shop or something.
for the front. uh.. good luck?

thanks bro.....can i just get da sides nd da rear 4rm like online 2gether.....or like 4rm a dealer.....u kno go 2 dem nd ask dem 2 order both? nd i guess i cud get da front bumper 4rm da 01 model at wings west?

for the WW REAR, you can try any WINGS WEST dealers or call them or even the BLACK MARKET.

bah, i really wanted to see a nicely done TL with a body kit, guess it wont happen 
lip kits are nice, the OEM ones go on the black market every now and then for cheap, usually painted too. you'll find a harder time at the dealerships but some will have them. if you're not losing any money on a front and side + wings west rear, go that route. the WW fills out the rear much nicer vs the skimpy oem rear lip

ya that OEM seems it wud match up well wit tha sides skirts but the 99-01 version is sketch n hurt just wish the 02-03 would fit on an 01 it looks so dope
