i think ill just go with an intake, headers, and exhaust for now. injen and aem seems to be popular for intakes, comptech or apexi for headers and exhaust...any suggestions for brands?

Headers first, used comptechs are about 500-700, new they are 1100.00. Intake icebox is 260.00 shipped, UR crank pulley 175.00 shipped, thermoblok spacers 105.00 shipped. install for headers is 200-300, crank pulley i have heard 60-100.00, intake and spacers you can do yourself not very hard. so that totals with new CT headers about 1950.00, then with extra cash get some H&R springs about 200.00, install probably 75-100. that brings total to about 2200.00, 300.00 extra get eibach sway bars. don't bother with exhaust, get new tips for looks, but new exhaust will not give you much of a gain if anything. I wish I had 2500 to spend on mods. I just need UR pulley for my engine then I am done.

go with icebox, go onto the black market here for used parts, you can find a bunch of stuff on there. then there is always ebay.

you wont find turbo, comptech the only supercharger out there for the tl., custom make your turbo if you want but it would cost just about as much as a supercharger so.....thats a tidbit for today.

and ernizzle i just installed my icebox-- youll love it when you get it on... dont be afraid to install this stuff yourself.. it's fun and you get a better understanding of your car if i can install this stuff myself ---so can anyone (i only have one fully functioning hand) ive installed the icebox, taillights, reverse gauges, and im waiting to install my aem tru power pullys and i will be installing alphawerks headers as soon as i get my paycheck.comptechs are too expensive and alphawerks have least known problems. you want the best prices you gotta get them used or through excelerate. trust me. new alphawerks headers on ebay are $100 over what excelerate charges.

i dont know man, im too scared to install myself...i think ill just get it done by Acura dealership. by the way, how does the icebox sound? im still trying to decide between the icebox, aem, or injen.
so i decided on getting comptech headers + exhaust, but what kind of pulley and spacers should i get? oh and if theres anything else i should get, please let me know...like grounding, spark plugs, etc etc...

You've got 260HP at the crank (before SAE revision) with a TL-S. I'm never big on more HP in a FWD car. I'd be more inclined to recommend suspension upgrades since I think the TL-S is skewed more for highway cruising than 'spirited driving'.

If you've got $2k to spend, get coilovers or a good spring / shock combo. Sways are also a must (Comptech and Eibach make sways for a TL ... I'm sure there are a couple others) My .
