btw . . . when I posted the 320+, I meant that I'm putting 320+ at the crank now. And I still can do pullies, more exhaust work, more intake work, tuner mods, 3.5 build and I'm sure there's a couple of other things I can do. So I think there's another 50hp+ . . . easily.

The problem isn't getting more HP out of the engine or to the wheels, . . . it's getting the power to the ground.

Power isn't what's killing the tranny. It's primarily a design problem with effective oiling/cooling. It's going to blow the same whether you have 200hp or 400hp. Assumining that the 3rd gen design fixed the problem, IMO . . these trannys will handle 400hp.

as long as they don't shift , so you can get the engaging clutchpack to actuatly grab enough,
but yeah once the clutchpack is fully engaged, they can take some power through them

6spd swap or 3rd gen tl trans. and dont put any of that friction modifier atf in. that causes the clutch packs to slip a bit and wear out faster, but give a smoother shift.

but if u want to put down power and not have any problems or waste a few thousand dollars on a trans every few thousand miles, go 6spd

I pulled on a new 09 TL-S sh awd, and those are supposedly the highest hp acura ever, with my 02 TL-S with only intake and full exhaust, I wish I had money to burn on a dyno, so I can be dissapointed with my high milage motor's output

they also got more weight to haul around let alone the the AWD system soaking up some of that additional power, so the power to weight ratio is basically the same on both cars

They have a type-s for the 4th gen already? I thought they only made the type-s in the last 2 years of production for the generation.
