Mod math I/H/P/S - For TLP 2000
I've done a bit of searching to determine how to calculate total (hypothetical) HP increases for a 2000 TLP. I've seen dynos and hypotheticals posted here. But not for this combination. Some modders say you can add HP together, some say you can't. I know this depends on a lot and varies depending on your car, etc. For the 2000TLP, how should I estimate HP gains with these mods:
Intake AEMv2 (best guess 7HP)
+
DC Sports header (best guess 22HP)
+
UR Ultra S pulley (best guess 10HP)
+
OE Spacer (best guess 5HP)
Thats about 44 HP increase. Am I off base here?

If I were guessing I'd say Joe is close to right, but I think that the pullies will do eight and the intake will do 6-8. Headers 15-20, and spacers 1-3. Just my guesses from the reading I do *shrug*

Some people just aren't at all good at taking jokes...Maybe try using the search feature for your mod questions. There is a lot of availible information around here. Just search.
30 WHP is a feasible assumption. 44 crank HP is realistic too. the person that started this thread did not speify WHP, but simply HP, which leads me to believe he meant crank HP.

For everyone else...

But yeah I agree aprox. 30wph is feasable if tuned correctly.
I read about adding mods up like this along time ago on .net and someone said that even with adding mods in this manner you can't add everything up and get the true HP gain. He said that when you add one mod in theory it might take away from another mod, but if you are just trying to get and idea of the HP gain I would suppose 30-40 would be reasonable. It would probably be best to dyno after the mods are in place OR look for someone else who as dynoed with similar mods and see what they got.
