mid-muffler delete question

does anyone know the size of the inlet and outlet of the mid-muffler, i want to replace it with a straightpipe but i dont know the size i should buy

i believe 2" for the tl-p and 2.25" tl-s

search, their many out their, without mid muffler, without resonator, and with out both.

There are but its VERY hard to tell the sound difference with the computer. Its subtle but there. If your worried if it will sound bad or too loud it wont. Search the other 20 threads on it for more info

its gonna sound like a g35/350z, but a bit quieter.

I just removed mine on my TLs. Midas here in ATL did it for $54 and it sounds really good..little deeper and slightly louder than stock..you can really hear it a lower RPMs...just make sure you keep the round resonator and remove only the smaller squarish looking muffler just before the dual mufflers. I hear it keeps the raspy-ness down by keeping that round resonator. Not sure if there are sound differences with the tl and the tl-s..that 1/4" pipe diameter difference may have more imact on how it sounds.

that sounds really good, did you remove just the muffler or both the resonator and mid muffler?
