ok will do thank you for advice

make sure you stand with the guy when the car is in the air and tell him exactly what you want removed. it is safe to assume that not everyone is familiar with the words "mid-muffler" and "resonator".
i will make sure to do that. o yea when i told him what year my car was he was the one asking me if i wanted the resonator removed or not but whoever i do chose i will watch!

I just had my resonator removed as my exhaust broken off at the y pipe (it was 5-6 years old and not SS of course). I had 2.5" piping now I have 2.75" piping with no resonator. I just wanted to play around and see what it would sound like. It is loud as hell and extremely deep. I thought my exhaust was deep before. Tons of drone, gives me a headache. I'll be adding a resonator or may get a complete SS catback and then self my Magnaflows (7 yrs old and still in good condition). If you get aftermarket performance mufflers then make sure to get a resonator too or you most likely won't be happy. Especially if the TL is your DD.

damn 2.75"? i would imagine you would lose massive amounts of back pressure.

Not really. Actually the low end felt the same, but highway pull in higher RPM's with 2.75" and a poly front mount made a nice difference. Mostly due to the front mount, but the exhaust streams on the highway.

2.75" huh...

At what size would you start to lose HP? I thought 2.5" was ideal.

2.75" is pushing it/losing HP
