Looking for quick easy mods

Hi everyone. I picked up a 99 TL with 160k miles not too long ago and I was wondering what you guys think are the best and easiest mods out there for these cars. I was thinking debadging the acura letters on the back but that's about it. Any ideas would be appreciated as I'm a total amateur with mods.

Well it really depends on what kind of mods you are looking for? Personally I like mods that increase performance where others are just looking to make the car look good. In my opinion I think if your car looks good it better be able to put down some power too. I'm assuming it's a j32a1? With a 4 speed auto transmission? As far as performance usually the easiest mods are, intake (true cold air, don't waste your money on a short ram unless you're just looking for sound), exhaust (headers spacificly) and then a lightweight crank pulley. As far as cosmetic mods I think that window tint, wheels and tires and maybe an hid headlight kit are all good places to start. Plus I'm sure that there are also suspension coil overs and brake upgrade kits as well. But the best thing you can do before you start to modify is to take care of the scheduled maintenance. Preventive maintenance is number 1. Anyway this info is not very spacific but neither was the question so that's all I've got for now. Good luck

As justin mentioned it really depends on what you are looking to do. A quick and easy mod that won't break the bank and will add some power would be our XLR8 crank pulley. That's where I would start. Then probably a exhaust and cold air intake.

+1 to the intake.

But before you throw the money down I'd look at deletes. Pull off your intake resonator. It's a 1-2 hour mod and will give you great sound from your engine up front. You can also consider deleting some exhaust components but that's up to personal preference.

There are certain mods that net bigger gains for the money. Headers, lightweight pulleys, etc are some of the cheaper mods.

Since you have a '99 you may also consider some restorative maintenance like new plugs etc if yours are old.
