J35a1 + j32a2 heads?

I have a j32a2 in my stock 02 tl-s. I found a j35a1 in an 01 oddessy, and was wondering if I were to build this engine first, would my stock engine mounts bolt up? And would the block fit? And second what other modifications would be necessary to make this work? I'm under the impression that I would need to use different piston heads? And third would this build be worth it if I can get the j35a1 engine cheep?

I'm doing something similar. I'm getting a J35A3 (pretty much same as J35A1) and swapping my J32A2 cams into it.

The only reason to swap the heads (instead of just the cams )is to get the 1mm bigger intake valves, but that just isn't worth the hassle to me (new head gasket and prepping the block).

You will lose a little compression using the J35 pistons though, not a big deal. Apparently the J32A2 valves WILL clear the J35 pistons, but I'm not worried about it since I'm only swapping cams and not the entire head with the valves.

You think the valves are the same length? I'd still be worried if the j32a2 cam lobes are larger than the j35's? Anyway thanks

That's not what I mean. The cams don't have anything to do with it.

It's the intake valve diameter that is bigger on the J32A2. So the notches on the J32A2 pistons are bigger to accommodate the wider intake valves. The notches are smaller on the J35A1 engine, but they should still clear the J32A2 valves.
